Running tracks

The ideal surface for the construction of athletic tracks is rubber sports flooring: a mixture of polyu-rethane resin and rubber granule with high elasticity and a high resistance to weather changes, UV radiation, storm waters, running shoes friction etc. The rubber sports surface doesn't deform, doesn't change its color, it maintains its properties no matter the conditions.

The rubber sport flooring is an ecological product thanks to the high quality material it is made of and the fabrication technology, which at the same time is respecting all relevant technical rules and standards. This helps sportsmen in their effort to reach high performance and to reduce the risk of injury in case they fall. This surface is extremely long-lasting resistant to temperature changes.

Therefore the functioning of the running track can be maintained for decades and this system can be installed and used in all types of climates.
Polyurethane floors are permeable to water, UV resistant, proving durable playing surface all year round.

Running tracks dimensions

In order to be approved for all official competitions, the running track has to be minimum 400 me-ters long, with 4-8 running lanes. The speed running tracks must have 100 meters length, the hur-dling must have 110 meters straight length.

In case of installing an official dimensions running track, this can be combined with a speed running and hurdling track.

Running tracks infrastructure

It requires a concrete slab with a perfect flatness
a thin layer of asphalt can also be poured over concrete.

In case of a reduced budget, the tracks can also be installed with artificial lawn.Recently ATLAS SPORT has successfully realized 3 running track projects:

1400 square meters running tracks and jumping trail at Cetate National Sports College, Deva County, Hunedoara Project realised with rubber sports surface CONIPUR SP, product leisure and certified by IAF (International Athletics Federation)
official size athletic traks , homologated "Danube Star" in the city of Giurgiu County, Giurgiu. Project made from scratch, including: Earthworks, Stone Infrastructure, concrete slab, asphalt and rubber sports surface CONIPUR SP, product leisure and certified by the IAF (International Federation of Athletics) (at the moment this project is in progress )
